Well, whenever I put in some work on a character of any significance to the story at all for the first time in the game, he or she will get a DevLog introduction.

This is Yannee, daughter of Fandalora. I wish I could still find the one who drew her for me.

Well, since Yannee is, just like Marrilona, called “daughter of Fandalora” it’s quite obvious that Yannee is Marrilona’s little sister.

At the time this game takes place she’s 60 years old (which is comparable to 6 years old for a human child). Yannee is a bit in envy of her big sister. As Marrilona is 140 years older than her, Marrilona is has matured more, and has some privileges Yannee does not have as a kid (for obvious reasons). She’s also pretty envious of the fact that Marrilona already got wings were she has not. Truth is that Fairy kids don’t have wings until they turn 100 years old. Still Marrilona loves her little sister a lot and Yannee does return the affection. Yannee is like her older sister a bit of a mischief-seeker, and also has a bit of a pushy nature. She always means well though.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. The Fairy Tale takes place 200 years prior to the events in The Secrets of Dyrt. In the Secrets of Dyrt, Yannee is 260 years old and is thus an adult woman, married to Tephondar and the mother of Irravonia.
