I was able to work a little bit on the prototype today, and did a few things! Mostly visual stuff, however, they are important as they will help me steer the project (no pun intended) in the correct direction! You will see that I added a ground (I'm using the desert Blowharder tileset from OpenGameArt.org). I added road dust particles to the car too, and a very cartoony "base hit" animation.
Also, I started coding the Upgrades part of the game, which will be REALLY important, just as the power-ups in Vampire Survivors are.

And that's it for now! In the next days I might start coding some of these upgrades. I'll probably start with the easiest ones to code, and go from there!
