I need a bit of help

Im working in blender, and I have multiple meshes, and I'm trying to sculpt them, but the tools aren't working

Anyone know how to make a texture unable to stretch? I tried using "Correct Face Attributes" but the moment I swap to object mode the texture stretches back to if I did it without it on.

Help... I think i made a mistake, I absolutely can't texture these models for some reason, in one it only paints the circle in its hat, and in another it just turns black. uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh pls help
