In 2019, 6 young adults disappeared in and around Blackwood County, Virginia, USA.
9:16 is an experimental, immersive, first-person horror experience, based on the events taking place at the end of October 2019. The game features realistic visuals and psychological horror elements. Focus is put on atmosphere and immersion instead of only jumpscares and gore.
The game features multiple endings and a story that can be puzzled together by exploring the enviroment.

The game is right now in its early acces phase! If you really want to support the games development, you can buy the game right now and have a first peak into the forest of Blackwood! experimental horror game
Script is done! This is not only all the lines that need to be voiced but also a short summary of the game, its story and somewhat of a very short game design document. This often helps you as a developer to keep track of your ideas! :)
Its always hard to decide what to share because I dont want to spoiler anything! Here is a cropped out of context image of what ive been working on. Scattered a few hundred posters with almost no performance loss. Quite happy with it! :)
Dipping my hands in red color and painting these with my fingers was lots of fun! Way more realistic looking that anything I could fake in photoshop. Get your hands dirty devs! It pays off :)

Loading...Footsteps are composed of different audio layers. This is still WIP but you can get an idea of whats going on. When sprinting for instance "Phone Noises" (as I call them) are added upon the normal footstep layers!
