Aeolis Tournament is a 3D party action game where up to 8 players compete in various game modes based on a simple one-button mechanic. Characters use an air cannon to affect their surroundings. It's a high-tempo game in the vein of Fuzion Frenzy with a Nintendo-inspired cartoony and colorful art direction.

Basically, it's Mario Party without the board game.

• Local & Online. Play on your couch with 8 of your pals. Destroy our AI if a spot is missing. Or compete against other players online.

• Simple controls. Hold and release, it's as simple as that. Push, grab and boost other players around the stages. It's easy to learn, but hard to master. Perfect for any type of players.

• No slow board game. Play one of our creative game modes or compete in a Tournament to play them all.

• Vast controller support on PC. Use of the Rewired plug-in for Unity and some in-house work means you'll be able to play on PC with most controller you can get your hands on.

The core of the gameplay is based on a simple one-button mechanic. Characters hold an air cannon that allows them to vacuum air in and release it as a blast.

In short: Hold A: air goes in, Release A: air goes out! Pretty simple!

The air cannon can be used in various ways: pushing an opponent, grabbing, holding and throwing items as projectiles, navigating on slippery surfaces by giving yourself a push, etc...

That mechanic is creatively used in each game mode and helped design games with a fresh feel despite being relatively familiar premises. It adds a depth layer to seemingly simple games.

The heart of the game is the tournament mode where players will compete in a succession of games earning tournament ranking points after each of them.

Whoever has the most points after the set number of games wins the Tournament. And bragging rights.

There's currently 5 available game mode to compete in: The Perfect Storm, Sportsball, Explosive Dodgeball, Air Hockey, Snowball Fight. Here's some of them:

Battle Royale! Simply push the other players off the slowly crumbling island to make points.

It's soccer, in a volcano, with a twist! Each time a team scores a point, the ball change as well as its behavior.

Mixing dodgeball and hot potato, Explosive Dodgeball is one of the player's favorite due to its chaotic nature. Throw bombs in the other team's area to send the opponent off the stage to make points. Watch out for friendly fire!

Snowball Fight is a cool way to knock your friends cold... Its play-style is more like a top down 3rd person shooter. Hit the other players with a snowball to make points or eliminate them. Accuracy is key!

Canada's favorite sport makes its way into the game! It's another team-sport game, similar to our other game "Sportsball". However, on Aeolis, every game must be played with the air blaster, so moving on the ice might be a bit more complicated than expected...
