This is going to be a nightmare for the Freedom Fighters or their death.
Story:
Eggman suffered enough from the victory of the freedom fighters. One day he decided he wanted to raise his plans to the most dangerous level. He prepared a virus (the side effects of the virus are: 1. Blood leakage. 2. Desire to kill. When he released the virus he acted on animals. Because the virus was strong. It also spread to Eggman's base. After Eggman finished preparing the drug (he prepared the drug for emergencies) he contracted the virus and then the side effects started. He started breaking Badniks in the middle of their preparation and then he started murdering the animals inside them. Some of the animals became infected with the virus. The infected animals managed to kill Eggman and spread the virus. The virus spread quickly. Until one day he got to where Sonic and freedom fighters are.
