Hey, your project seems very cool, are you per chance in lookout for a musician ? I'd love to offer my services in the future, keep it up though !!

This game better have boss fights or I will… still be fine with it

First of all this is a really great game idea and has lots of potencial and possibilities to be implemented. I really love the deep/undiscovered underwater idea in general. I played the proto 5 version for a great amount of minutes and I really liked the atmosphere of the game. The art style was amazing too, really increases the whole game's quality. Here's my opinions to make this game reach its full potencial and become a great success (in my opinion):

>The thing that bothered me the most was the lack of a diagonal swimming sprite for the player. It felt very janky while playing with a gamepad. I think it would be better if the player just rotates according to the position of the left thumbstick, so that way you don't have to make a diagonal swimming sprite.

>Having the stamina, health and oxygen in the same bar seemed like an interesting idea at first. But after my playtrough I realized that it just makes the game harder for no reason (again, in my opinion). The first time I died while pressing A button repeatedly made no sense at all. Reaching incredible amounts of speed makes this game so much fun in my opinion but this "all in one" bar mechanic makes it impossible to enjoy high speeds. So my recommendation is just make a seperate stamina bar. That's it.

>Underwater diving is a very atmospheric experience in real life. It almost feels otherworldly. But this game doesn't have much features to woke the same feeling on the player, other than having incredibly amazing sprites. But the solution is pretty easy. Just apply a water waving shader to the game view so that the player can understand that they're underwater. After that you may add more atmospheric underwater stuff like air bubbles traveling through the bottom to the top of the screen, sunlight shining through the surface and so on. There's so many atmospheric stuff that you can implement when it comes to the underwater aspect.

And that's all! I can already see how this game will be a great success and a very otherworldly experience. Keep it up and I'm sure people will start to notice your game eventually (because it's awesome). Anyways, just keep it up!

Description

In Underwater Diving, you are an underwater diver surrounded by aggressive fish and mines.
Collect the black corals to clean the idols.
Once all the idols have been cleaned, the exit will be free. But be careful, leaving a level is a one-way trip. So you have to be careful not to leave anything interesting behind either.
Explorers will be rewarded!
Collect energy bushes, which in addition to filling your energy gauge will increase its maximum. But above all find the precious red corals, the only way to increase the level of the diver and therefore all its characteristics.
If during the first levels you can and must both dodge and flee confrontations. You will have to become stronger to face the dangers and the immensity of the last levels. Labyrinthine levels that put your sense of direction to the test.
