This is such an ambitious project, and while it isn't without flaws I still applaud the amazing effort that's gone into this. I've never played a game with these kind of mechanics, and some of it is pretty darn original!

I'm specifically referring to things like the character interactions (which, although fairly simple in nature really add an extra layer of realism to the game and the message it's trying to convey), the stress management levels and the very fact that you're raising awareness of autism and Asperger's Syndrome in general on a large scale.

This was an experience, a really eye-opening and good one. And really, playing it during Autism Awareness Month has just added an extra layer of meaning on top of it.

Keep up the amazing work, and keep improving your style. This was great, and I know whatever you work on next will be even better! =)

One day your roommate Leaves for no reason. You’re left to face the outside world alone, but this can be both difficult and amazing when you have autism. Just because you have it, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy life. Some things can be harder to do, but you can do some incredible things as well. It just makes even the mundane parts of life, an experience.

"An Aspie Life" is an experimental adventure game that deals with the topic of Asperger's Syndrome. The game is centered around having to live with autism. The player's actions in the game will have to adapt to how an autistic person sees the world. As every element of this game recreates how some people with autism perceive the world, therefore all forms of sound, graphics, and interactions are intentional.

Story

Your mission, as the player, is to survive doing normal everyday activities and tasks. The goal of the game is to keep health and emotions at the maximum level. These health and emotion meters will determine the ending of the game.

Game Play

In An Aspie Life, you, the player must follow the outlined daily routine... But I never said it would be easy. From shopping to gaming, all events and interactions impact your day. You must decide what the correct decision is to keep yourself as happy and safe as you can be.
