played the game for a bit and i have to say that its awesome! this is my first exposure to the taiwanese culture and literature and, i have to say, it is a very pleasant one!) the game has a very colourful, distinct look with a great style for both the characters and the backgrounds especially the backgrounds, love them!) the game's story is also really cool - i got engaged in it from the very start and it kept my interest all way while playing!)

but, alas, where the story, the visual style and other things succeed, the gameplay itself falls shortly - the platformer style is pretty fitting, considering the protagonist's occupation, but, alas, the gameplay isn't as interesting as the story, the characters or the overall atmosphere. Reed Ru, i think that if instead of a platfromer-based scroller you made a turn-based or a character-action RPG it would fit much better for the story and the gameplay, but, alas, it's your game!)

overall, the game rocks - it's brimming with respect towards its parental culture and got me interested in taiwanese literature, too! the game's style, backgrounds and all other visual and story assets are great, and even though the gameplay isn't all that great, the story makes up for it!) i'll definitely download the comic version of the game once i'm on my phone and read through the story and gaze at the amazing illustrations!) Reed Ru, thank you for this game, and i, personally, wish you best of luck, nerves of steel and lots of inspiration in your future endeavors!) take care!
