Five-hundred years ago...
The kingdom of Ornlan was plunged into an eternal night by the hand of the warlock king Valkor. He swore to purge the land of all light. All those who stood for the light were declared enemies and were to be hunted and destroyed.
...but things might be changing soon...
Deep within the forest, a sword weilded by the king who formed this land lays at rest. Within its power, it grants its weilder power and authourity over the light magic that was forgotten so long ago...
And now, the time has come for its new master to claim it.
This is the first chapter of his story
Take control of [REDACTED] on his quest to seek out the four stones of arcana before darkness envelops the entire earth. The stone of nature is said to reside within the Elven forests of Aeroo, but without a wizard to weild it, its power may never be unlocked. Find the stone and the wizard before darkness does.
What to expect from gameplay:
Darkest Knight is an RPG with platforming elements and skill-based battles based off of games like Undertale, Super Paper Mario, and Chrono Trigger.
The overworld gameplay resembles a basic platforming game with enemies you can interact with to begin a battle.
Battles are timer based with enemy attacks acting as bullet patterns to avoid. Enemies will have unique bullet patters that can be mixed and amplified depending on how many enemies there are in-battle. Each party member will also have unique options to use in-battle as well.
Both controller and keyboard will be supported!
As of this update, expect the game to release in 2027.
