My review on Dino Run/FlappyBird.
Even those these are basic games, I'll want to give some ideas on how to improve the gameplay and variety. One thing I really like is how arcade it feels (most specifically the title screen).
First one is Dino Run. When I first opened the game. The death counter was already set to one, along with a high score already being set, not sure if its a bug.
It's basically the Google Dinosaur game. I wouldn't mind adding different platforms, but I think it could be fun if you make it challenging, using your move sets to your advantage and add more object types.

Next one is the flappy bird game. I don't really like this one as it does have small issues.
First was the title screen design. The "Hold up arrow" isn't very apparent as the dark color blends with the background.
The major problem with the game is the background tubes, as it kind of distracts you when trying to focus on the tubes coming ahead. Ig it does do ok for a nice 3D-effect (if that was what you're going for) but having them scroll while also looking at the foreground tubes can be distracting.
Not sure what could be done to add variety, although Konal Projects's Atnamb game does have a similar flappy bird concept but decides to add more variety to make it less of a reskin to the original game. Not sure if it'll be expanded upon in the next update the developer is currently releasing soon.
Here's 2 games I made when I was travelling this summer. #arcade #onebutton #minigame #turbowarp
