Super Mario 64 for inspiring the Health Bar The website Bensound for the main menu music The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the boss defeat / ending music PATCH NOTES: None yet! EXTRA INFO: This game is rather short, but tons of effort went into it! Every area, asset, cutscene, menu, and enemy was created by me alone. Take a look inside and see all of the coding that was required for these few minutes of gameplay. Everything was coded using a broadcast-based game loop, meaning no "wait" or "repeat" blocks could be used anywhere. This makes things like cutscenes very difficult to create, but it also means you can pause the game in the middle of them (please do!) SCRATHCING TIP: For those of you who made it to the end, here's a fun fact: Your final thumbnail costume for any game should always be a bitmap one! I like to make the image using vector art, then screenshot it and upload the .png back into Scratch. Using a bitmap thumbnail ensures that it will show up first when the game finishes loading (and before you press the Green Flag), adding polish to your final game. Using a vector thumbnail means that other assets will sometimes load first and show up in front of the actual thumbnail If you don't know what I mean, reload this page and notice that you still see the thumbnail. Try the same thing with a vector thumbnail, and results will vary greatly
