In the world of Chrono, everything is ruled by time.

In this hot new game, built in 48 hours for PxlJam 2019 where the theme was "Time is Money." Is a completely broken amalgamation of ideas from #rpg's, #roguelike's and the like.

The main resource in the game is time. Your health, the player statistics (defence, attack, magic def., magic atk.) and amount of actions you're allowed to make. Everything takes time.

This is largely incomplete and I (Raresh) would like to polish and finish off this project down the road.

This is our first game jam. We know it's bad.

Game controls boil down to "use WASD and ENTER."

The 48h build of the game doesn't have intuitive navigation. So here are some peculiarities:

  • Use WASD keys to move on the map

  • Use WASD keys to select items in the pause menu (use ENTER on map)

  • Use arrow keys in battle to select items in battle

  • Use Enter for actions (Attack, Retreat), Shift to attack type (Physical, Magical), and Enter again for attack itself.


This game was made as a collaboration between Matthew Hunter, Andrew Chan, Raresh Nistor and Patrick Lang (Team MARP).

Interim Release 1 (0.1.1) was released.

This release patches the game controls to make more sense. (Sorry guys for implementing keyLock late in the 48h).

Just use WASD and ENTER. Anything else you need to know will be on-screen.
