Hexar's journey

this is me after playing 0.0.3 btw ^. stuff's good, the game is pretty funny, the few fights that are in it are difficult, but enjoyable. even in it's unfinished state it holds great promise.

here's a rundown of all the stuff of note that i've spotted while playing. i didn't write down some stuff like that lack of music in maps because that's probably attributed to the game being unfinished:
+ i like how the load screen says "Load which universe?". that's pretty creative.
- it's "To the beginning", you have one G too many in that :P
+ Shadow is cute :)
+ i like that you drew the skill icons yourself - they add a certain charm to the game. plus, they look nice.
- the event where Milo joins you can be started endlessly, same with the one where Arthur joins you or Rythen fights you. though with the latter you gotta re-enter the location for the douche to reappear.
+ "That's a ladder" - "Yup" AHAHAHAHAHAHHA THAT WAS MAD FUNNY NGL
- it's kinda busted that Arthur starts at level 25 lol, i'd rather make him start at level 9, cuz, like, NineSoulsSea. eh?
- Hexar you can use other tilesets other than the World one yknow. not that big of a deal but perhaps you just forgot about them.
+ i like how heaven's clouds are represented by snow mounds. that's pretty creative.
- another funny bug i found is that after fighting Rythen you can interact with the tile where he stood beforehand and start the event all over again even though he's supposed to have dissapeared and added to your party.
+ all of the skills are pretty unique and aren't just your average rpg maker shit like "deal damage to all enemies" or "heal", they all have their intricacies and i appreciate that a lot.

all in all, the small bugs don't weight the game down. it's still pretty humorous when it needs to be and overall fun - the fact that it's unfinished does it even more justice because even in it's half-state it's already a good time. i'll be looking forward to future updates :)

also, isn't Rythen a girl's name?.. 0_o
