-Story-
The story begins when our pink hero is woken up from his beloved nap by his friend bandana dee. Badana tells him that King Dedede has held a huge fair, called "The Dream Fair" where there are games, contests, and above all...Food! There is even a special contest where the first prize is a huge ten-tier cake.
Kirby, with his mouth watering, goes with his friend to the fair, not knowing that evil mind were starting his plan: A strange figure that was approaching to the flame of the heart, the essence of Pop Star. What will Kirby hold in this new adventure?
-Gameplay-
The gameplay is a mix between Earthbound, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Mario and Luigi RPGs. A group of up to three characters will go through pop star, in search of the pieces of a forgotten legend, going around the world and fighting against the army of the master of madness.
In Kirby: Master of Madness, Kirby can copy abilities, but you can only carry one copy with you. If you get hit too hard(More than your defense) you will lose your ability, so...Be careful!
To get the ability of an enemy, Kirby can inhale it (there will be times that the enemy does not have the ability), But watch out, there will be times that the enemies dodge, or resist when you try to absorb them. There will even be some that are heavy and you have to work twice as hard to absorb them. Or even some so heavy, that you can't absorb them...
Character skills and weapons can be upgraded at Bonkers Forge, where he and his assistants Waddle Dees will upgrade your copy skills and your and your team's weapons in exchange for Star Coins and items and materials you can find elsewhere of the world or that the enemies release...
By defeating and fighting against the army of madness, you will gain experience and level up. When leveling up, sometimes you will be rewarded with an item, a new material or maybe something more special...
You can jump and fly (Be careful, flying too much can tire you) to dodge the enemies' attacks! But, hey, that's not to say that enemies CAN'T dodge and counterattack too..
