Robert’s Diary – Entry No. 28

It’s been a few days since I last wrote in this notebook. My psychologist keeps insisting I use it regularly—to “keep track of my thoughts and experiences,” as she says. Maybe she’s right, but that’s not really why I’m writing now.

Two nights ago, I received a new assignment. A local nighttime entertainment venue reached out, claiming their animatronic characters have been... moving on their own after closing hours. Sounds ridiculous, I know—but it’s not my job to believe, just to investigate. Still, it’s strange that incidents like this don’t get reported more often.

Hopefully, this one turns out to be simple enough—just a faulty sensor, a loose wire, something mundane. My shift starts tomorrow at 9 p.m. I’ll make sure to write down everything that happens.
