It is nice with the followers :) Nice to know ppl are interested and following along :)
The next stage we are working on a remake of the inventory and harvesting system.
While this will not quite make it ready for a release it will be much closer when we can keep track of inventory and harvest materials and supplies, then we can work on the survival engines aspects and work for some balancing.
One of the things we are hopeing, assuming no huge issues arise, is to work out the basics on the harvesting, inventories, and bare mini crafting/survivability aspects, then work on the starter area. Once this is finished we plan to release it both a Beta, and a Intro/Tutorial island/level.
However we will not release it on here or the other game sites, only released on closed to start with just a few ppl so we can make sure the engine and scriptings work properly.And hopefully not have a big a set of hassels as the last try.
If you would like to be considered for this beta, or for any other aspects of any betas let us know. We need a few ppl with Windows, Linux, and Mac systems.

This is intended more as a update page them the game page. Mostley for updates screenshots, video links, etc as we work on the project.
The intended platforms will be Windows, Linux, and Mac. While it was first intended for mobile as well, the project has simply grown to include to much to make it reliable on mobile since so many diffrences on device abilities. So at least for this time mobile/smartphones will not be included.
This is a RPG/Sim/Strategy/Survival/MicroManagment game. It is multi Genre but not a forced one.
The basics of the game starts in Survival aspect only, needing to find what is needed to survive and thrive. Staying feed, hydrated, warm, cool, dry. You start will practicaly nothing but your bare hands in a newly colonized area, so there is little help from others.
As you progress into the game, you will manage to work on what you want to do if you plan on no longer just living off the land.
You decide what to do and how to do it. There is Trade, Crafting, Materials gathering, materials refining, carpentry, tool smiths, black smiths, farms, trade routes, and more. Pick what you want to work on as your goal and make it happen.
There is the good and bad aspect, that you decide if you will be good to the other villages or mean/evil to them. If you need to secure a trade route and they dont want to accept your terms, maybe you can pursuade them to accept the terms, maybe a little force, or little other help to lean them in your favor.
The actions that you and npcs make effect other aspects of the world not just how npcs look and talk to you.
Villagers (NPCs) like players have needs, they also need to eat, drink, stay warm, etc, and if they cannot find what is needed they will move on or they can perish as well, so they will seek there options as well and can effect other areas while they work for there survival.
Each area contains diffrent resources, and some villages might be in a place rich in metals, but no source for farm lands or fishing, so would need trade routes to survive.
Bandits do not start with the game generation, but are created as some of the npc choices. You might have had a good friendship with someone in town that one day decided to leave and just become a bandit leader, and now runs a bandit crew. Nothing just aprears, but has to be created from something and somehow.
The weather is based on a 12 month, 4 season system just like real life. It will rain, snow, storm, based on diffrent aspects. If it is below frezzing it will snow, if the temp goes above frezzing it might turn to rain, but the weather effects the temps as well, so the rain might drop the temp low enough to turn it to snow or a snow and rain mix.
As it rains, and the snow melts, the water levels will rise, as you go a period with no snow or rain the water levels might drop, creating either flooding or droughts.
MODability.
The game is designed around JSON format for how we add things into the game. This means that you will be able to add your own items and aspects in with some simple JSON codes, even if you do not make 3D models you can create items and change aspects of the game with moding in json.
