Overview
Project Ahra is a comedic visual novel with dark fantasy elements. Developed by a team of five, Project Ahra began development in May 2017. The project aims to deliver roughly 6 - 10 hours of gameplay on a single run, with multiple character routes and endings planned depending on player decisions and actions.

Narrative
The plot follows the story of Ahra, a young d’wasii girl who awakens in a vast, breathtaking desertscape. With only few remaining memories and the aid of an inquisitive, mysterious canine spirit for guidance, her journey begins with discovering just how and why she is still alive.

Over the course of her travels to and within the bastion city of Jhaket, Ahra will meet a varied, larger-than-life cast of characters, each with their own goals, convictions, hopes and regrets; some may become companions who stand alongside her, supporting her goals in exchange for aid in seeking their own.

This is a bizarre journey in a bizarre land. What will you uncover as you traverse the dark and zany depths of the Ristel Expanse?

An Original Fantasy Setting | One of our primary targets with Project Ahra is to deliver a unique fantasy world that revels in reinventing or applying novel spins on traditional fantasy tropes. To this effect, players can expect to delve into a fascinating, deep and vibrant world bursting with cultures to explore, secrets to uncover and perils to navigate.
Characters to Fall in Love With | Much time, effort and love has been put into making our characters as well-written as possible; believable people whom can be sympathised with and evoke emotional investment. Project Ahra will deliver a truly charming cast of these people across cultures, creeds and histories to discover and unravel.
Voice Acting | Breathing additional life into the people of Ishra’at and the Ristel Expanse, Project Ahra will employ the vocal talents of paid actors to increase the cinematic delivery of many scenes. For those who would rather apply their own voices to the cast, this will be an optional bonus that can be disabled at any time.
Original Soundtrack | Enjoy a beautiful score of immersive, emotive tracks composed specifically for Project Ahra, inspired by folk genres from around the world and composed with the marvellous musical talent of Alex Hull.
Multiple Endings | Through player actions and decisions, Project Ahra features a simplistic but deep system of branching events and opportunities for the player to explore. Your choices may impact not only yourself, but also your allies, rivals and the world itself.
