Story :
The circus is back in town, and you've been cordially invited. An old friend has messaged the ex-ringmaster of the traveling circus Stretch, calling him back to the very place he once could call home.
Upon arriving back, a flood of past memories back Stretch: Times he considered simpler, happier even, what went wrong to have stopped such good memories. Until suddenly, he snaps back to 'reality', something is off. His once memory filled Carnival has become warped, twisted even, and yet, something calls to him, someone.
That someone has lead him to an old, run down Big Top, abandoned...or so he thinks...
In short, Carn-Evil is a story of a man coming to terms with his past, reliving both the good times and the bad as they are twisted up and spat out as corrupted fragments, controlled by the mysterious new ringmaster.
What is Carn-Evil? :
Carn-Evil is a 2.5D Horror Puzzle Platformer, currently in development by a group of 5 University students, coming together in order to create a stylistic horror experience.
As of now, we are working on a workable demo that will hopefully become playable next month. Although we will have regular updates so you can follow along with our development process.
What we have planned for the Demo :
- 1 fully detailed level
- 2 enemy types
- Fully functioning grapple and pull mechanics
- Animated cutscenes for the demo start and finish
All is subject to change.

Lil texture work done

Lil update on the logo, have a poll with a few folks to decide which colour scheme to do. The Purple/Green came first as I thought it was the winner, turns out, I can't tell right from left and the White/Red one was the winner. Still they turned out great
