Witchcrafter: Empire Legends is a gripping platformer RPG with a strong emphasis on dark fantasy story, fulfilled with vivid characters with own motives and experiences, set in the world full of elemental witchcrafting.

• ELEMENTAL MAGIC
  
  Witchcrafters are skilled sorcerers able to control four elements: fire 🔥, air 🌪️, water 💧 and earth ⛰️ With character development you will master also derivatives: storm ⚡, ice ❄️, flora 🌱 and lava 🌋.

• BRANCHING STORY
  
  Witchcrafter puts a strong emphasis on RPG elements and storytelling - 🗪 branching conversations will have an impact on the world and relations between characters. Estel will evolve from a young, stubborn kid to a mature, but distrustful witchcrafter.

• SMOOTH EXPLORATION
  
  Witchcrafter's look and feel is constantly improved to present smooth movement like in all modern 2D platformers. Estel will explore dense forests, wilderness, old temples, dangerous caves and visit villages and cities of Emporia.

• INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT

  Witchcrafter's intent is to become a systemic game - with 🔥 fire propagation, 💧 water simulation, physics based dynamics and even terraforming. Decorative elements, flora and enemies should all react to player's actions.

📖 STORY

There was a prophecy, that during a Night of Shooting Stars fifth element will fall on earth and disturb the balance of elemental magic. When the night came, the League of Witchcrafters able to control four elements were formed by emperor Ronar to protect Emporia form the disturbance.

Though, the Nawians from the southern empire lead by a necromancer Mordon violated the border and striked on Ronar's castle believing he has a fifth element, but it was never proof that it even exist.

Some folks beliefs that quinta essentia was simply in hearts of children born that night. One of them was a boy in Tilia.

🧙 CHARACTERS

Estel is a young witchcrafter with a vague past, knowing nothing about his biological parents, found during the war, taken and raised by a wise sorcerer named Trismegistos. Estel is able to bend all elements, learning to control his power.

Trismegistos was serving emperor Ronar for many years, but during a clash between empires, he was accused of collaborating with Mordon. He met a young boy in Tilia and decided to raise him in isolation, far to the west.

Fasteus is a cheerful, amusing friend of them, always helping them as he can. He was also working on the court, as a blacksmith, where he met Trism. Now he lives and works in a peaceful and lovely village - Tilia.

Illeana is a mysterious girl appearing suddenly in Estel's live able to use magic and clairvoyance. She will be important for the story and will surprise Estel not only once with her courage, intelligence and abilities.

Mordon is the emperor of the southern empire - Navia. Mighty and compulsive necromancer, experienced in warfare, who lost his loved ones due to his misguided decisions and now lives with a desire to steal the witchcrafter's stone and get them back to live. He signed a pact with a demon to resurrect bodies of his soldiers and change them into an army of homicidal monsters.

🗺️ WORLD

The Emporia is a dark fantasy world full of the artifacts of the old civilizations beliefs in several gods. Its legacy is shaping actual worldview of folks living here, although many of them has conflicting views. Witchcrafters are not so welcome in many places, because people tend to believe they caused the war and fall of the empire after the Night of Shooting Stars.

🎮 GAMEPLAY

It's a platformer with metroidvania and RPG elements, heavily based on elemental magic spells and unique abilities allowing to reach locked places. It is a story rich adventure with a lot of branching dialogues and difficult decisions to make.
