What is X's Advent ?

X’s Advent is a 2D retro-inspied platformer indie game inspired by the Super Mario series. 
The game is also inspired of other games, also retro games from old school consoles (Arcade, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nes, Super Nintendo, Sega Megadrive and Sega Master System), the game has references to old cartoons, comics and movies.
The game has also a Smg4 humor and the art-style of a retro game.

Story of the game

In the game, play has X, a male human from the real world (in the game, not in the real real life), he gets transported in the Utopia World for stopping the evil King of this world, " King Fly " because this king wants to destroy humanity because he has hatred humans, in the Utopia World, X will be guided by 4 guides, " Muno the little Monster ", " Mr. Duck ", " Mr. Turtle " and " Mr. Panda ", X will also be accompanied with animals and special guests, in a cute, weird world, X will travels incredible and strange worlds. It will not be easy because King Fly will appeal his army of minions and his 8 main minions ! X can punch, kick and use abilities for beating King Fly's minions and the strange creatures in this world.
Can X will save the real world and beat King Fly before it's too late ?

The game's content

• Travel the Utopia World with X the Human !

• Explore the environnements (one level lasts between 5 and 6 minutes) ! 

• Use abilites to beat King Fly's minions and the weird enemies of this world !

• Break the boxes (don't break the explosive boxes) !

• Beat King Fly's 8 powerful bosses !

• Collect diamonds to buy items !

• Beat the game's different challenges !

• Play as a friend of X ! : Jimmy, Kevin and Neostar

• Collect the collectibles !

• Discover the secrets and bonus stages !

• A classic 2D side-scrolling gameplay.

• The developpment of X's Advent started on : June 16th 2024.

• I have the idea of creating this game on : 2020.

About me

I'm Amine Zala, a solo indiedev from France, a passionate of cartoons, comics, video games and movies, I love drawing too and I love retro projects. For X's Advent, I got the idea to create the game since 2020, I got the help of my friends : Artnope, Hunter_405, Wassem, Walid, Hum_Mogged and Zach, for my game.
X's Advent will be the 1st indie game, steam game, itch. io game, gamejolt game, game that I developped it with GameMaker I have ever developped.
