X's Advent has no bizarre content, it is appropriate but it contains horror elements and a cartoon violence.
What is X's Advent ?
X’s Advent is a 2D retro-style platformer indie game inspired by the Super Mario series.
In the game, play as X, during the countdown of the destruction of humanity by the the evil King Vexfly from the Utopia World, X is thinking if is there a way to stop Vexfly and the countdown. In the Utopia World, guides and their animal friends search a human for stopping the King, they choose X and X gets transported in his mirror for going in the Utopia World, in the advent-ure of X, he will have help with guides and the animals friends of the guides, later he will get a new guide, his wife called Lola.
The game has references to retro games from old school consoles (Arcade, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Master System, Mega Drive, Nes and Super Nintendo), old cartoons, comics and movies.
The game has a Smg4 humor too and the art-style of a retro game.
Story of the game
In the Utopia World, a world from another universe, the evil king " King Vexfly ", king of all the Utopia World, decided to destroy the real world (in the game, not in the real real life) because humans kill flies, he will destroy it with his giant laser in his Space Lair. King Vexfly hacks the screens in the real world for announcing he will destroy the real world and starts a countdown of 48 hours, at the end of the countdown, the real world will be destroyed and the humanity panics about this situation.
But in the Utopia World, 4 guides : " Muno the little monster ", " Mr. Duck ", " Mr. Turtle " and " Mr. Panda ". With their animal friends, they want to save the real world, for that, they will choose an human for traveling the Utopia World, the human that they choosed, is called " X " (it's his name, it's not an unrevealed name, the main protagonist of the game), an 25 years old joyful man from the real world, he knows the situation, he's asking how this king and the countdown can be stopped.
To send X in the Utopia World, the guides use a mirror portal, they connect the portal and X's mirror, X gets sent to the Utopia World. X lands in this world and he learns he is not alone, meet the guides with their animal friends and they explain they choose for stopping King VexFly and stop the countdown, they must travel the Utopia World to Vexfly's Purple Lava Volcan Lair, but King Vexfly learns an human is in this world for stopping him, the King Vexfly calls all of his army of his minions but he will also calls his 8 powerful minions.
Play as X, travel the Utopia World with the help of the guides and abilities, beat Vexfly's minions and his 8 powerful minon and arrived to the Volcan lair.
Can X will save the real world and beat King Vexfly before it's too late ?

I have the idea of creating this game on : 2020.
About me
I'm Amine Zala, a solo indiedev from France, a passionate of cartoons, comics, video games and movies, I love drawing too and I love retro projects. For X's Advent, I got the idea to create the game since 2020, I got the help of my friends : Artnope, Hunter_405, Wassem, Walid, Hum_Mogged and Zach, for my game.
X's Advent will be the 1st indie game, steam game, itch. io game, gamejolt game, game that I developped it with GameMaker I have ever developped.
