Update 1.2

Contract Update:

Factions now have unique contracts, offering incentive to change factions, and to give greater thought into which one you side with. Overall, four new contracts have been added to the game.

Vanguard contracts:

·         Capital Destroy (new) – destroy an Empyrean capital ship.

·         Recruitment (new) – find and add a civilian ship to your squad.

Empyrean contracts:

·         Resource Stoppage (new) – destroy several vanguard miner class ships.

·         Planet Destroy.

Shared contracts:

·         Resource Theft (new) – mine any planet owned by the opposing faction.

·         Delivery.

·         Escort.

·         Bounty.

·         Convoy.

·         Planet Discovery.

·         Mining.

Contracts now may have a faction level requirement, meaning you’ll need to work your way up in a faction before taking on bigger contracts, you may start by doing simple delivery and mining jobs, and end up taking on cargo runs and bigger battles.

Other Additions:

The bounty system now applies to all factions. If you continuously destroy a faction’s ships (outside of contract work), the faction will put a bounty on you. Bounty hunters will come at random to attack you, you can stop the bounty by destroying the ‘bounty giver’ ship, marked on the map, or flying far away.

Added an achievement for escaping four bounties.

Added a Ui notification for picking up resources, and now all items are picked up automatically (if there is space in the inventory).

Bug Fixes/Small Changes:

·         Fixed title notification offset being incorrect at various aspect ratios.

·         Reinforced hull now requires refined metal to craft.

·         Menu now automatically closes once you’ve mined a planet.

·         Increased chance of miner class ships spawning.

·         Reduced chance of vendors spawning.

·         Reduced max spawn amount of both standard and miner class NPC ships.

·         Added bounties escaped to the statistics menu.

·         Updated readme.

·         Removed a debug command left by mistake.

1.2.1 Patch:

  • Complete rewrite on how space generation works, fixes multiple issues with the previous system.
