Mike is bravely concerned for Violet, he's been encouraging her to know if she's carefully listening to him. Violet is sweetly loyal to Mike, she's been politely listening to him when she got inspired by him. Hellen and Michael were close friends. They were members of the Missing People and the Cartoon Buddies band.
