Going Down

"All of it... amounts to this..."

We've been quiet but busy. Time for an update!

Our little team here at Mytholite has been working hard, despite the recent lack of updates.

We've been neglecting our public presence lately due to the intense workload we've been wading through. Of course, alongside full-time jobs, we've been establishing ourselves as a legally incorporated company, gearing up to work with Steam, and working on the game, of course.

We now have a release date in mind, which is very exciting! We won't be announcing it just yet, not until we have everything planned and in place, but it's safe to say, we are on the home stretch.

Now that we are swiftly making our way to the finish line, the question of funding comes up. We are looking for ways to fund the final stages of development, and we'd like to involve you lovely people.

In the coming days, we are going to make channels available for you to contribute to the project and, to show our gratitude, we'll make sure it's worth your while.

We will be trying to keep you all in the loop going forward. Thank you for all your support so far!

Happy Spooky Month!

We added a kitty!

Just fixed a major memory leak issue and added a forest to the office building. This game will be... abstract.

"There are trees here... but we're still in the building. I think I recognise these woods..."

The story of 'Going Down' is falling into place nicely. The visuals are looking lovely. The atmosphere is spooky with more than a touch of mystery.

I am very happy with progress!

"Despite everything. It's still you..." -A different game

Added a little visual polish. A taste of what the camera is up to during gameplay.

The sequence of events isn't final (just for testing purposes). Probably should have mentioned that earlier.

Both the game and the TV show of The Last of Us have been praised for their depiction of Bill. In 2013, GLAAD described the game's Bill as being "as deeply flawed but wholly unique a gay character found in any storytelling medium this year."

Taking its time, but not forgotten...
