WIP of the intro cinematic. Still very rough draft... but now we'll be able to add cutscenes and dialogue, to actually let the player communicate with the townsfolk and learn the story.

Exciting :D

Finally got some icons for the craftables and decorations, so here's a little video of decorating the homestead.

in case you need the controls layout until we're able to update it. gameplay hint; don't underestimate how useful a well timed dodge roll can be 😉.

still chugging along on the update, things are coming together pretty well 😁 hopefully we should have something playable out before too much longer.

Updates to the crop system so you can tell when they're ready to harvest. also working on building add-ons for the homestead so now chicken coops are placeable. chickens can be harvested for their meat if you need it more than the eggs

if you're interested in learning a bit more about us, we were featured in the february issue of Indie Gamer Magazine. he did an amazing spread for us amd some other awesome looking indie games, check it out!

I'm bad at predicting time frames 😆 every time i think we've only got a few weeks left, something pops up to steal my focus lol... we're still making progress though, getting the village updated, combat reworked a bit, and ai improvements.

We haven't left, We haven't forgotten, and we haven't given up. The remake of "The Code" has entered the QA phase and will be ready soon. when it's ready we'll post a link here to the new page.

We're launching a demo for our game "From the Heartlands" soon, if you'd like to check it out we have a page for it here on gamejolt now 😀. Heal the land, build up your homestead, help your neighbors and fight back the Witherbark.

took all day but it's all in now. every level gives one point in every stat, and your playstyle will affect your characters stats as well. swinging a sword increases strength, hitting enemies increases sword ability, etc.
