Hellooo!

Welcome back to another changelog for Crusty Island! I wasn't active for a pretty long time (again) & I'm very sorry for that, but I'm coming back with more updates to Crusty Island! Even though this update was supposed to be content-only, I've actually done much more things! 😄

So, here's the changelog for the newest version of the game - now available on Game Jolt and direct download!

   Platform release order:

Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where the player's spawnpoint position doesn't reset when starting a new game.

  • Fixed a bug where sound volume gets reset after "Trigger Warning" screen.

  • Fixed double Pause Menus opening.

Improvements:

  • Replaced Level 8 (see image 1)

  • Removed trigger warning due to Level 8 change.

  • Changed Kitty Catty's colors to match the game's style. (see image 2)

  • Returned "Delete Checkpoint" button's functionality.

  • Added a back button in Game Mode Chooser. (see image 3)

  • Adjusted the "Skip" button in Level 15 when in the mobile experience for better usability. (see image 4)

  • Changed the platform in Level 4 to an actual Falling Platform. (see image 5)

  • When Pause menu is opened, the background music is "low pass"-only.

  • The Button UI now disappears when paused on mobile.

New:

  • Added Tutorial Level 5 (see image 6)

  • Added Tutorial Level 6 (see image 7)

  • Added Tutorial Level 7 (see image 8)

  • Added Power-ups Tutorial Levels (see image 9, 10, 11)

  • Added Teleporters. (see image 8)

  • Added Moving Spikes. (see image 7)

  • Added Falling Platforms. (see image 6)

  • Added Level 24 (see image 12)

  • Added Level 25 (see image 13)

  • Added Level 26 (see image 14)

  • Added Level 27 (see image 15)

  • Added Level 28 (see image 16)

  • Added Level 29 (see image 17)

  • Added Level 30 (see image 18)

  • Added new credits to the Credits screen.

  • Added advancements back!! 🥳🥳

Working on:

  • STORY MODE (probs not so soon).

Bugs:

  • Settings menu in the pause menu doesn't show settings that has been set before.
