"Clocktower" was the winning Urban Titan prompt by a landslide, thank you to those who voted!
Below is a short story I wrote about them as well, enjoy!
The New Year's Titan
It was a night as any other new year's eve in a distant village.
Whether with family or not, festivities were all over.
The streets and the homes within were decorated to the brim.
The people were feasting on whatever was at the party.
And with only one thing in mind...
What is gonna happen next year?
However, one thing is bound to happen here once the clock hits midnight.
The ground rumbles during the countdown, the stones of the plaza crumble and crack, lights dim as if their power is being drained, and the clocktower rises from its slumber.
From the rubble around it the clocktower forms arms and legs, giving it the vague shape of a human, a titan if you will.
And at midnight, the performance begins...
The titan sways back and forth, taking a step at a time as if it were a dance.
It tours around the village gracefully, every now and then sounding its bell, until it arrives back at the plaza.
From there, the titan reverts back to its original form, leaving everything intact.
Every year the clocktower returned with a new dance, and while it invoked fear in many at first, the people of the village didn't seem to mind the whole act.
Despite its sheer size and daring movements, it never trampled people or nearby buildings.
A few weeks before the event, they decorate the tower with lights and it became a local tradition soon after.
They decided to give the dancing clocktower a fitting name, namely...
"Eve"
New Year's Eve
