We also wrote our names front ways, back ways, upsidedown ways and backupsidedown ways, prior to writing it with a shadow but I didn’t take a picture of that.
The hands (and what little you can make out of the “heads”) were drawn without looking at the drawing, only looking at the subject.
The final piece allowed us to look at the drawing, but we had to spend at least 50% of our time looking at and observing the subject, rather than the drawing, to really hone those observation skills. I think I had the easiest time drawing the flower pedals oddly enough. It was fun but tbh the biggest take away was that my arm and hand were tired (I wasn’t the only one lol)
Nah nah tho, I’m really enjoying this. Looking forward to sharing my assignment too, both in class and here ^.^
