Concepts for a Discovery Island reimagining

A while back, I had an Idea to make a Discovery Island reimaging that would've brought a new story and plethora of other things to the fnati formula.

The game Isn't In development at the moment however due to my focus being on Lament.

The game would've focused around Jake and the SSA as usual, expect with a twist.

In this game, Disney was responsible for quite a few experiments to create real life versions of their characters, only to fail and create abominations using park guests, employee's, or anyone else.

Jake and the SSA were Disney employee's who were aware of these experiments, being high level workers who were tasked with getting Discovery Island ready for demolition after Hourglass's Influence started to become too hard to contain.

Jake and the SSA were also responsible for the death of Henry after they found out he was going to snitch on the company and leak their secrets, resulting In them stuffing him Inside a Captain Hook suit and beating him to death, leaving his mangled corpse on the Island, only for It to be revived later by Hourglass.

Hourglass was also In this version, I'll be It different. He was summoned by a spiteful Disney employee who knew about the going on's the park, wanting Hourglass to burn Disney to the ground. The employee offered himself up as a sacrifice, becoming Oswald after Hourglass killed him.

After the ritual was complete, Hourglass began selected experiments Disney had worked on to Infect with his Influence, turning them Into beings that couldn't be killed, his Proxies.

Hourglass chose to develop his Influence on Discovery Island due to It being a dumping ground for corpses of Disney's failed experiments, alongside the fact that he wouldn't draw too much attention to himself.

Photo Negative Mickey started off as an employee named Blake who, like Henry, wanted to leak Disney's secrets out to the public. He was quickly found out however, meeting the same fate as Henry as he was stuffed Inside a Mickey suit, battered, and left to bleed out.

Eventually though, a researcher on Discovery Island named Phineas found the corpse and decided to use It In one of his experiments. He fused Blake's corpse to a rat, before resurrecting It and messing with his brain to make him act like Mickey Mouse.

The experiment worked well, with Blake acting exactly like Mickey. There was just one problem though, he looked nothing like him, so, until Phineas could alter his appearance, he put him back Inside the suit he found him In.

One day however, one of Phineas' superiors found out about his experiment and ordered him to execute Blake before he was. Phineas reluctantly obeyed, shooting Blake In the head before his corpse was stored Inside an abandoned tool shed near the docks of the Island.

Hourglass eventually found Blake's corpse, resurrecting It and making It one of his proxies. Due to Blake acting like Mickey before he died, he turned Into a negative version of him, suit and all.

The Face started out as a child named Daniel who drowned In the moat of Cinderella's Castle. Some researchers who were Inspired by Phineas' experiment saw this as the perfect opportunity to make a superior Mickey, so they covered up the death and used Daniel's corpse In their experiments, making him act just like Mickey, before putting him Inside a temporary suit.

However, Daniel went berserk during the experiment, killing two of the researchers before being shot by security and having his corpse thrown on the Island, being stored In the same shed as Blake.

Now with the story beats out of the way, onto visuals and mechanics.

Vandals: Every night, vandals would from time to time enter the Island and destroy property.

To prevent this, the player would have to quickly dash to their location and scare them away.

If too much property Is damaged during the player's night, then their pay would be docked before they eventually would get fired, being forced to restart the week all over again.

Vandal's could also be killed by proxies, forcing the player to dismembered their corpses and Incinerate them In the Boiler Room.

Inverted Mickey: Inverted Mickey acts like Springtrap In the regard that the player has to lure him with sound. To do this, the player would have to use the Intercom system behind them to lure him around.

This mechanic was exactly lifted from one of my previous scrapped games, Golden Arches, read the post If you want further details on It:

https://gamejolt.com/p/scrapped-concept-for-a-mcdonald-s-themed-fnaf-fan-game-read-below-tsqnsbpd

There was one thing added to It however, that being the fact that the player can Indeed fix destroyed Intercoms, only It takes a while.

Daisy: Daisy would crawl In the vents that lead to the one underneath the player's desk. To keep Daisy from getting In, the player would have to keep the screws on the vent cover wound tight. They cannot do this when an enemy Is Inside the office however, as the noise will give away the player's location.

Lastly, models, here they all are:

Not sure If this project will continue or not, but If It does, It'll be a while. Rest assured, If It Is revived, I'll let y'all know
