D0.42 Update 6 released!

It's been a while, hasn't it?

While I am focussed on a new project and Cook Tool, I wanted to give a bit of a refurbishing to the game. This is primarily due to performance improvements incorporated to Starboard, alongside overhauls to Cook Tool Deluxe (which is used to create newer builds of the game, including this one). You won't notice much, but you will see vastly improved launch times, and some fit and finish updates. And thanks to the overhauled Cook Tool, I was able to fix the occasional regression where the particles wouldn't render.

Changelog:

  • Vastly improved performance for Starboard.

    • Re-worked the file check system.

    • Overhauled the compression library, speeding up decompression times.

  • Moved the "Play" button (alongside other related features) into a "Game" menu.

  • Updated renderer to 0.102.1.

  • Under the hood changes to the engine.

  • Addressed a build issue, which would cause the particles to not render properly.
