These are blasters. They're pretty good at pummelling the enemy into dust. As long as they have power, they'll keep shooting into the void wherever they're pointed

This actually took 2 attempts, you can see the first attempt in gif 2. I rejected it because it was too distracting. It makes lines in your peripheral vision.

And so begins the process of salvaging all the non-rushed code. New project time!

These are batteries, they hold the excess electricity you've generated and distribute power to the rest of your structure.

You can now press tiles again

These are miners. They use electricity to mine gold.

Gold is then used to upgrade and purchase more units for your base.

These are nodes. They're used to connect stuff together and transport resources throughout your base.
