I told myself I'd start posting devlogs again once I'd added a more interesting palette but I kept putting it off and a month went by.
These are blasters. They're pretty good at pummelling the enemy into dust. As long as they have power, they'll keep shooting into the void wherever they're pointed

Created a simple crown animation!
The more you play, the more crowns you earn, which can be used to purchase customisations you can flex on your friends in multiplayer.
You now can play at any resolution! It will scale properly. I also made the background only show at the sides
Watch the bottom of the lighter edge. This slow-mo reveals how the 3D tile animation is just a visual trick, done by scaling a square.
These are miners. They use electricity to mine gold.
Gold is then used to upgrade and purchase more units for your base.
Particles and camera shake, to add to the panic. This is something that I envisioned in the original concept, I just didn’t have time to add it during the jam.
