These are miners. They use electricity to mine gold.

Gold is then used to upgrade and purchase more units for your base.

These are blasters. They're pretty good at pummelling the enemy into dust. As long as they have power, they'll keep shooting into the void wherever they're pointed

Those damn aliens are stealing the wifi again.

Armed only with your golf gear left in the car from last Sunday, you decide to take matters into your own hands with some target practice from a vantage point on the hill.

This is a generator, it converts gold into electricity. They are the source of energy for your entire operation. 

Particles and camera shake, to add to the panic. This is something that I envisioned in the original concept, I just didn’t have time to add it during the jam.
