Hello!
I haven't uploaded anything Dannie's related in a while due to (a) being busy and (b) a different project. I thought I'd sum everything that's been being worked on/finished in this post. As always, I would really appreciate your follow on the game. It shows that at least somebody cares about it. :)
What?
For the people who don't know what Dannie's is, it's my Five Nights at Freddy's fangame that's been going through development hell by fault on my part.
I restarted development on it on December 5th, and I've been trying not to get burned out.
I'n Dannie's, I have ideas for an AI that would learn from what you did and decide on what to do next. Of course, I can't promise something that big, so that may not be in the finished, final product. Along with that is point-and-click free roam and after/before shift minigames, plus perhaps multiple endings?
The Office(unfinished):
Here's a look at the unfinished endo model:
Here's a closer look at the endo hand as well!:

and finally, some textures. These stickers were put on boxes present in the office:
Some clarifications:
The game engine:
I have no idea what to make this in.
Currently, I have three choices:
The original engine that was used to make all the original FNAF games by Scott Cawthon - Clickteam Fusion 2.5. The good news is that I know how to use Clickteam efficiently, and it uses mostly visual scripting. The bad news is that I learnt it via a pirated version, lost it, and is too expensive for only one game. I probably won't be using it for anything else. It also requires additional payment for me to be able to export the games to Android, iOS, and MacOS(not even native!). There's no Linux support.
GDevelop 5: This is basically Fusion 2.5 but slightly watered down. However - it's completely open source and free. It also is a visual scripting engine like Fusion, and I've taught myself the engine. It has full, native support for Windows 7-11, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. And it's all free.
The only downside is that it's not that efficient when it comes to programming ease.
Defold: This is a rather unknown game engine that's also completely open source and free. King bought it out(the makers of Candy Crush), but later it split into the Defold Foundation. The only downside is that I will have to learn an entirely new language, Lua 5.1.
If you read it this far, thank you!
