Another dark ambient soundtrack piece. "Choked by the Waters of Madness" is supposed to be even darker and more intense than "The Empty Prayer". Fair warning is given, especially to those who are afraid of the ocean/water.

This particular track should be playing when Erik visits Perros, which is a seaside town. At that point in time, Erik's sanity is already dangerously low, and his moods are much more fleeting than before. When Erik witnesses something that makes his mood drop, this track begins to play.

Representing the superimposition of Erik drowning in his feelings onto the presence of the nearby ocean, this one features boiling, crashing waves, dark synths, and some field recordings (particularly the sounds of a person gargling - washing their throat with water), all interwoven.

The first draft of a 3D scene made out of 2D objects, very rough, very saturated (i was light testing), very much representative of the parallax I wanted to achieve. What do you think?

Hosted Development Stream №82. Thank you everyone who attended!

I completed the quick-time event script! The prompt shows up and the press is registered. Also finished the intermission animation. Now to the second half of the song!

Now that I'm in Master's degree, I'm considering pitching OGLS as my exam project for the autumn semester. For more info, read the article!

In other news, NPC system finally works in 3D. At least, the planning/moving/stopping parts.

Vs Red! LETS GO!

Hello, Christine.

Sonic said “Go Fast” so…

I played #HollowKnight and got a lot of inspiration from it. A great example of how to work with parallaxes. Did you know that they actually used 3D space to build their scenes? I wonder if I can do the same thing in Godot Engine 4 for OGLS!

This is partially why I wanted to switch to Tilemaps. They are capable of stuff like THIS. Now I'm able to recreate any sort of lighting, any time of day, within any location that I create.

Some more MIDI music!

A while ago I was making RPG-style music electronically and came up with the project name "Synthetic Son".

I've uploaded that album as a "Game" with a few tracks available to listen to before downloading:

Hello! It's been a bit, but this project is back to the top of my priority list.

And Godot 4 released, which means that I have a great chance to clean up my project by remaking it from scratch!
