In this AU, Gracie Green was a teaching assistant instead of being a counselor in Poppy's Sanctuary. She used to help teach with Miss Delight before they went their separate ways. Gracie was given a flyer by mail that was looking for volunteers to test out a new haircare product, however, she became the victim of something much darker.
The haircare product flyer was a way of drawing in unsuspecting people in for experimentation, and Gracie unknowingly fell into that trap.
Thus, due to this life-altering turn of events, Gracie later became diagnosed with DID and Lily Lovebraids became her more manic and excitable alter-ego. She was later rescued by Poppy and her band of misfits, deciding to lay low for a bit until she felt comfortable trying to go back to living her life, especially being aware of what happened to her.
