You heard that right. Endoskeleton’s Debauchery Quest: R is back.

Since the Act 1 Demo’s release in early 2017, we’ve made many attempts to revive EDQR over the years but I could never quite keep working on it for more than very short bursts at a time. This time, however, the game has been brought back to life in full and is chugging along in development. EDQR promises to bring a more balanced and proper game experience in line with the official games’ Complete Collection- as well as bring a proper conclusion to this ten year old story once and for all.

Here’s what you can expect out of the game:

• New story scenarios and content

• New characters

• Much better writing (hopefully)

• Game balance

• A proper ending

• Even more secrets to be revealed…

As for the game’s current progress, Act 1 has been drastically rebalanced and altered from the original 2017 demo and is largely complete once again. Act 2 is in the early stages but plans are well underway. Even more planning has been done for the rest of the game in the meantime as well.

On that note, I will be hiding the download for the 2017 demo as I do not feel it is reflective of the current vision for the game.

As an added bonus to this announcement, to commemorate the occasion and the 10 year anniversary of the original game’s final update, EDQ: Silver has also had a brand new update released right now which you can read more about here:

I won’t make any promises on when the game will be released as I simply do not know. The game has gotten exponentially more ambitious over time compared to the simple MV recreation it started out as and I want to deliver a quality game. I’m simply taking it at my own pace. In other words: it will be ready when it’s ready. In the meantime, you can enjoy the new updated screenshots on this post and the game’s page. In the future, once we have more to show, I will post devlogs to update you on the game’s progress as I am very excited to reveal the things we have in store.
