Hello everyone!

Welcome to a brand new devlog for Farmwand. We have been making a lot of progress during this month, especially on world building. We know you must be curious about how the world in the game will look like and what kind of people or creatures you will meet, so hop in and let's start!

🏞️A sneak peek at the world🗻

We are very happy to share the very first look at the open world in Farmwand. While still in a very early shape, we are already building the landscapes, forests, swamps and other playable areas that you will be able to explore in the full game, as well as the main towns and settlements.

This is the first hand draft of the town distribution for the main settlement in the game : Lunahweld Town. We're currently working on several new, more polished iterations and can't wait to show you the full town once it's ready.

🍀Friendly and magical encounters✨

Lunahweld town is full of interesting places to visit and tons of unique characters and NPCs to meet and interact with. There are also all kinds of creatures living their lives both within the streets of Lunahweld and in the forests around. Some of these non-romanceable townsfolk and magical creatures are ready to meet you!

⚒️Meyra, the blacksmith of Lunahweld Town. She loves to build things, the heat of the furnace and, most of all, her two children, Aisha and Eydan. Strong and kindhearted, Meyra is a very skilled and intelligent craftswoman. Remember to pass by her shop and say hi when you see her in Farmwand!

🌿Eydan is the doctor's apprentice (his youngest apprentice ever, as Meyra will proudly tell everyone who'd listen). A smart and very hard working teen, Eydan is following in his late father's footsteps to become a doctor and help around town, with the unyielding support of his mom and the admiration of the small ball of endless energy that is his sister.

💎Elsie, the VERY introvert and socially awkward jeweler and jewelry designer in Lunahweld. She is on a quest to design and create her masterpiece, you'll be able to find her shop near the townsquare. Just remember, she may be a bit slow to befriend!

🌼Yana, the free spirited half-fairy with a deep passion for nature and creativity, and a newcomer to Lunahweld town.

🌸Blinkatts are very polite magical creature, though a bit clueless. They are wonderful hosts who love to have guests in their tree-homes, as long as they can find their way back.

🪵The Goblin bandits are a group of renegades that despise the peaceful ways of their fellow goblins, preferring to smack unsuspecting travelers with their maces or throw a poisoned mushroom bomb at them, all to steal any valuables they may carry. Fellow young Saeges, raise your wands and beware of them!

🥞An all you can eat buffet!🍝

Food in Farmwand serves a special purpose. It can restore your health, and it can also be a great way to socialize. Because everyone loves a nicely cooked meal!

In the game, cooking recipes are formed by 2 to 4 ingredients, which can be simple like vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, fish etc. or processed like cheese, cream, flour, breads, bacon, sausages, etc. We are covering as many dishes as we can so no matter if you have a sweet tooth, or a craving for a hot soup, whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian or a vegan, you can always get a nice meal that suits your lifestyle in the world of Farmwand.

Hotcakes are a personal favorite of ours, so it was the first dish we added.

Saucy meatballs is an ideal hot dish when you want something meaty.

And for veggie lovers? The pumpkin stew is for you!
