FINALLY!

The last version of #PixelEscape has been released! It was a great journey with you all, so thanks for sticking with me that long and enjoying the progress! READ THE ARTICLE FOR MORE INFORMATION!


! WELCOME TO PIXEL ESCAPE !

Firstable, I'd like to thank everybody for supporting me and playing #PixelEscape. I had a ton of fun and learned so many things. In the beginning it doesn't felt like a 'dream game' but somehow it got one over the time!

It is definitely the last release, but of course I'll listen to your feedback for the next week and if you find any game-breaking bugs let me know! Nonetheless, it's nearly bug free and should be played RIGHT NOW :)

This is my first huge game project. It started two years ago and from that point on I constantly added new features in my freetime. Here is a full list:

  • 16 levels (3 modes: surviving, collecting, wave)

  • 9 sandbox levels (place down powerups to fight against already existing enemies)

  • 8 'human-designed' bosses and one randomly generated one

  • endless-game-mode (egm) with online leaderboard

  • a variety of events at egm (13 + wave-mode); based on the current season

  • 15 powerups to unlock and upgrade

  • 56 tasks to complete and 131 levels to level up

  • customizations to unlock (4 colors, 3 shapes)

  • 10 upgrades to unlock (only two are selectable, choose wisely)

  • packs, eggs and daily rewards to open

  • stats to keep track of your actions

  • 30 pets to unlock (4 community designed) + 3 fixed ones

  • realtime multiplayer (1vs1) with two game-modes: battle, hide and seek

The only thing that is left for you is to try it out and enjoy it.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
