Honestly, it's been a bit of a slow/rough couple months, but I do have a bit of progress to share.
The real cutscene for when you meet Stu is essentially finished, and I have some really fun ideas for the types of challenges and interactions you'll face in the Studio! There have also been more new graphics and such made for the cutscene, as well as a clever way to make confetti (you don't wanna know how it's doneš)
Here's a few you likely haven't seen yet
Verity can now walk with her sword out. Don't know if I'll use this anywhere else, but it's implemented in at least one cut-scene.
Hmmm, what are these pillars for? Will they get more uses in the game then just one cutscene? (Idk yet)
Here's Stu dabbing, cuz why not?
Of course, you should also check out my pinned post to see what I was up to in November.
(here be dragons after this point)
I know this isn't much. "One cutscene". To be honest, most of the graphics are a month old, and I did most of the work for the cutscene just yesterday.
I've been having a lot of stress in my personal life lately, and procrastinations just been hitting super hard. Another reason why work on the games been pretty slow is I've been setting up a new computer the past few months, and getting everything working on it like I like took a bit.
Biggest issue is that since I got my new computer (mid November) RPG Maker crashes constantly. I have to save every time I write a dialogue box or I'll have to do it all again.
I'm not sure what's wrong with it or how to fix it. I've tried looking into it but there's multiple things it could be and I don't know where to begin with any of them. I've still managed to get a bit of work done while just saving constantly. I finished the pinned post, as well as made a whole new cutscene (which I'm happy with) but it's definitely irritating.
Hopefully I can get that worked out in the next month or so, but doing that is just extra stress.
Hope you're all doing well, and have a wonderful New Year ^.^
