One more post before the weekend, 'cause why not.

Was just testing a new grunge brush I made with a very quick tree doodle, but I'm not sure if I like it yet.

I'll probably have to give it more time + mess with the settings to know for sure.

Here's the finished illustration I made for my friend who had the stroke recently. She's doing great, by the way—recovering well and making good progress with physical therapy.

Hope everyone is well and staying warm—it's been very cold where I am, so I'm bundling up and staying close to the woodstove.
