Look! They are ionic bonded, as one is an cation of a metal and an anion of a non-metal. Sodium has an extra electron, which it doesn't want, while Chlorine is lacking an electron and wants one, so Sodium and Chlorine share an electron to make up for it and form a full outer electron shell-- cuddling!

I find it interesting to make fun of odd chemistry stuff, like how the ion of an a really sensitive metal that can explode when in contact with water and another ion of a toxic gas that is commonly used to kill microorganisms make together salt, a powder like solid that can be dissolved in water and be easily digested. Better yet, what do you think the mix of a flammable gas and another gas which is used as a sort of "fuel" for fire to keep burning make what? That's right, a liquid that is not only often used to put out fires, but also is one of the main substances needed for life.

I feel like I should try to personalize other elements of the periodic table, not sure. It was quite interesting to try doing something like that, but I would find it difficult to come up with interesting ways to represent some elements in this style, specially elements from 104 to 118. Ooh, what should I do for Rutherfordium!? Rutherford as an atom... yeah... sounds about right.

About the GJColors, eh... I'll probably not even get a honorable mention. I'm not upset about it and I doubt anyone would use a Sodium sticker. I like the concept of Gamejolt Colors, despite not being my favorite GJ art contest. I feel like I should do another one before the submission time runs out, although I don't think I'll have enough motivation and energy for that now... Also, did you know Hydrogen cations exist? I didn't. And they are apparently confused for protons, because of, you know... no electrons and neutrons?
