I was kinda curious about how different ue5 would be on DX11 compared to DX12, and oh boy

They are both using Lumen reflections, but the first pic shows Lumen Global illumination while the second shows Screen space Global illumination


There's a big difference in terms of shadows and reflections, and even performance.

For context, My system has a 2060, and the frame rate while using Lumen on DirectX11 was around 62 fps, but while on DirectX2, I was getting around 45 fps.

Other than that, the overall lighting looks to be similar


Vulkan didn't work out though
