Im an aspiring game dev, what platform should I learn to use and why? Please read article

Hi! Im fish, Im an aspiring game developer.

Im trying to learn to code, and I want to know what platform I should use. Im going to start with making a FNAF fangame, particularly one with a lot of movement, so I'd prefer to make it more of a 3D experience. I also intend on making actual games once Im more experienced, and I will likely use Unity or Unreal Engine for those. Judging my current situation and future plans, what would you recommend I use and why? What are the pros on cons of that software? Thanks!
