This is a copperhead snake. One of the few venomous snakes we have here in PA. One scout sat down on the rock right next to it, and was encouraged to get up quickly!

It has been a very long summer but I am still alive! I did a lot of traveling the east coast, got kids back to school, and dealt with lots of family stuff. I will be sharing my trip with you guys soon. Thanks to those who didn't give up on me :)
