Five Nights at Freddy's: The First Location

Now that I've made this page public, I'm gonna give a little progress breakdown. I'm new to this new-fangled gamejolt, so I've attached a more in-depth article to this (I think?). Feel free to call me a boomer if it doesn't work.

All but two of the main mechanics in the game are done. The doors work, the lights work, the power meter and usage meter work and are tied to everything they should be, the cameras work, and the music box works. Only missing two major mechanics which will be revealed at a later date, and one minor mechanic. Game Over can be triggered, though there is nothing to trigger it yet, as I lack jumpscare animations (for now). The in game clock works, though it doesn't end a night at 6 (yet, working on that very soon). Save data is implemented for everything that it needs to be implemented on.

Enemy-wise, Marionne, aka the Marionette, is basically finished, they just need a jumpscare animation that will trigger a game over. Work on Fredbear will begin soon. After them, Spring Bonnie and Balloon Boy, and the main game will be largely done at that point, but I am planning to give this game as much love and care as say, FNaF 1, so don't expect me to just release it when it's "done".

That all said, I hope you look forward to it. I wanted to be more transparent on the game's development than most fangames I've seen tend to be. Not that I won't be keeping any secrets, of course. Stay tuned.

Game is currently undergoing some major reworking on the code side (and my contracted project is still taking full priority on my part), so here's a little something in light of the lack of updates.

Progress Update No. 7

I have started working on a sort of a personal game jam. Expect a new, paid game release by the 20th. Inspired by #fnaf both visually and gameplay-wise but otherwise unrelated.

Just kinda needed a break from other projects.

Pic related.

Oops, I did it again.

I really want to do a FNaF World game.

September 13th. For real this time.

Unreal Engine has some uh...interesting rendering bugs...

yeah idk how this happened. I just accidentally moved a slider too much and hell broke loose.

Making steady progress on all the new content and Quality of Life changes for Casino Casualty's upcoming Steam release. Aiming for February, ideally, but not setting any firm dates yet.

Merry late Christmas from Fredbear & Friends!

See you next year :)

No character teasers today, so have a peek at the work-in-progress environment instead.

Have another sneak preview at one of the other cast members of my upcoming #fnaf inspired game.

Still on schedule to release on the 20th.
