Optimizing even the stones

One of the things that concerns me is game optimization, so I've been looking at all the ways to optimize the game. I think I'm going to get a PhD from studying so much.

One thing I learned is that using a RayCast is less expensive than a collision, but since I didn't know how to use them, I didn't program them for the protagonist until now. I've studied a lot to see how they work and how they are implemented.

This is why I love not having deadlines, it gives me time to optimize even the smallest details and offer a good game at the same time.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

Difficult days

Due to certain problems I've had to move, the good thing is that I'm quite antisocial and it doesn't affect me, what I consider my greatest tragedy is not having internet on my PC.

Testing and Balancing

I was on a call with my Game Tester and he said, "I like the boss fight; I don't see any problems with it at the moment. Maybe I could suggest an additional move, but otherwise I like it quite a lot."
