Posting some other DEAD DRIFT EXPERIMENT GIFS. You can see "enemy trucks" (the dark rectangle thingies roving around) AND big zombies (they have 10x the HP of a regular zombie!!)

  • If you pay attention, in these gifs the car is also shooting in one direction only (at the car's left). This is another experiment I'm doing -- different cars would have different basic shooting properties (angle, speed, damage, etc.)

  • You may also have noted that the enemy trucks don't leave a dust trail behind them, like the player's car. I had added this initially, but I still haven't found a way to do it that doesn't affect performance significantly. If I ever find a way to do it, I'll put these back in, because they look cool!

I'm still working on the missions, and it's been harder than I anticipated. However, I was able to make missions work (even if the UI is a little janky)!

Sharing the pixel art I did for a personal project I never got to make. The player would control an enchanted chest that had to investigate the disappearance of its wizard master!
