Pre-release announcements and more

Hey everyone!

As you may know, the game is coming out this weekend. It’s already finished, I’ll try to add some extra things tomorrow but the game itself is done.
Anyway, there’s a couple of things that I’d like to leave clear before I upload it.

  • Mac and Linux ports: I’m not sure how will those work, or if there’s any problem with them since I use Windows, so if there’s any kind of problem be sure to write them in the comment section and I’ll do my best to fix it.

  • Resolution: As I’ve said numerous amount of times, I’m not an expert. This is my first game ever. For that reason, I started developing it without a single clue of how GUI works. This means, that if you chose other resolution than 800x600, it’ll look weird (only the dialogues).

  • Requirements: I don’t have any real data of this, I don’t know how to measure it or anything, but I’m pretty sure any PC or laptop will do. About disk space, you shouldn’t worry too much either. It’s about 210mb (the game itself is actually 80mb but Unity creates a file that’s about 130mb, I’m not sure of its function yet, but it’s there for some reason)
Edit: I’ll upload the Windows version as a .rar file, so now it’s 62mb. The Mac and linux ports are 43mb and 52mb, respectively.

Also, I wanted to thank a member of the Gamejolt community.
The thing is, back in December I was looking for someone on the making of a 3d version of Undertale. And I found it. His username is Wolff. He said he was remaking the entire game in 3d (of course it was really hard to believe that), and I checked it out for a couple of days to see what was people’s reception and questions. Since it wasn’t that much of a success, he deleted the page of the game, and that’s when I decided to make my own version.
So yeah, I basically discovered Gamejolt thanks to this guy, go give him some pie: Wolff.

That’s all for now. The game should be available this Saturday or Sunday.

Have a nice one.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
