Smaller Grid
I removed a row from the grid mainly to allow more space for UI and information at the bottom below the towers. I don't have much room to give good information on what the tower is, its stats, and how much it costs to build. I haven't implemented this yet, but it will be soon.
New Towers
There are 3 new towers and 1 sprite change of one since the last time I showed off this game.
The shooter now represents a turret rather than a triangle (which before I had in mind of going for simplicity).

And now about the new towers...
Generator
These generators increase the rate that you gain Bits, the resource used to build structures. They're here to help you be able to produce more structures faster or be able to afford more pricier ones.
Barrier
Barriers are cheap but durable walls. Your bullets can pass over, but opposing enemies' can't! Use these to defend yourself while you setup defenses or to protect your buildings!
Bullet Splitters
Bullet splitters takes in an allied bullet and splits it to a tile above and a tile below. You're doubling your firepower, but at the risk of exposing the center tile the splitter is on.
To better show how it works, here's an image I quickly drew out.
The bullet feeds into the tower, and outputs 2 bullets to the tile above and the tile below, but not the center.
Q&A
Q: When will the game be available to play?
A: When I have at least 6 towers total, a bit of balancing, and some other stuff I have listed on the Trello Page as HIGH PRIORITY, I'll be having a free public playtest.
Q: What is the game name?
A: Not quite sure at the moment, current the files are named "Grid Wars", but I don't know if I'll stick with that.
Q: What are the future plans for this game?
A: I want there to be a variety of towers to choose and play with to provide an array of strategies. I'm open to suggestions!
Q: How many people are working the game?
A: 1, and that's me. All of the art, code, sfx, etc, are done by me. I will be looking for someone who could make music, but that's further down the line.
