Another late night coding, this time I brought you borders and music, did some tweaking to the music system since it was kinda unreliable when reloading to save points, so I copied kinda the system I did for the borders.
Borders do update depending on the room, and they are so easy to setup, one of the rooms has no music or border defined, so it keeps whatever border and music has currently showing and playing, could be useful for some stuff.
All sounds and music can be adjusted their volume globally, just need to make the menu to showcase that, and it does work.
Music from the overworld can be kept to play in battle or you can play your own music on battles, overworld attacks by default do keep the music of battle, but if you want to make like the CORE music battle encounters, it's easy to do just like how overworld attacks do.
Borders can be toggled to be dynamic in which they will follow each border defined by the rooms or you can let the player choose through a handful of borders and these will never change no matter in what state the player is in, you could do some manual changes to it if needed.
And that's pretty much it for this devlog, another feature added that I overlooked and an improvement on some of the features that were already implemented, tomorrow at 4 PM GMT-6 again I will be livestreaming some works of this engine, I plan on moving the dialogs onto their corresponding dialog file as I have forgotten to do so and implement more showcase of features that are already in but forgot to showcase properly and if time gives, more documentation.
I hope to see ya there in my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@cezarandrade
