Yeah, so the comic chronologically takes place after the events of the game:
The present timeline of the game (the scenes that are in full color) predates the comic in-universe by one week. The character shown in this timeline will look the same as they do in the comic.
The past timeline of the game (the scenes that are monochromatic) predates the comic in-universe by three years. As the present timeline only covers events exclusive to Seraphia and Cocytus, most of the minor characters are only shown in this timeline and thus can look a bit younger/different than they appear in the comic.
Pictured above are Estrelle(left) and Hime(right), a prime example of this, as you will come to see if you play the game. Even the wardrobes will be different in the comic, so perhaps you can discern everyone's personal style with comparison amongst project parts!
